This book is a simple and straightforward guide to learn to practice Mindfulness and develop this ability that we all possess in a latent state. The key to physical and mental well-being lies in emotional balance. Dr. Vicente Simón was born in Valencia in 1946. He studied Medicine in Valencia and obtained his Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery in 1973. He worked as a Research Assistant (Wissenschaftlicher Assistent) in the Department of Physiology at the University of Ruhr (Germany) where he became interested in the study of behavior. Back in Valencia, he specialized in Psychiatry and started teaching Physiological Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Valencia (which acquired institutional independence as a Faculty in 1983).
